About the Author of Momentum: God's Ever-increasing Kingdom

In 1994, after growing youth ministries in Kansas City and Chicago, Steve and Kristen Hickey moved to Sioux Falls, South Dakota, to plant a church. Today, Church at the Gate is an expanding and influential regional outpost for the kingdom of God. Steve's passion (and doctoral focus) to facilitate church planting movements finds its expression today in the Association of Related Churches and the goal of planting two thousand life-giving local churches by 2020. Steve also authored Obtainable Destiny, based on 1 and 2 Timothy and Titus. He and Kristen have two teenagers at home and one in college.
